Orthodox Wedding Photography
For the past several years, I've documented adventure weddings in some of the country's most breathtaking landscapes. While that work has been an incredible gift, becoming Orthodox transformed not only my faith but also my calling. Over time, I began to feel God gently redirecting my work toward something closer to home: serving the Orthodox Church by documenting the beauty and sacredness of its liturgical life and Holy Mysteries.
Since becoming Orthodox myself, I've come to understand that a wedding is far more than a celebration or event to be photographed. It is a Holy Mystery, a sacred union where Christ is at the center of your marriage.
Because of that, I approach every Orthodox wedding differently.
I'm not simply documenting beautiful portraits or checking off a shot list. I'm present as a fellow Orthodox Christian who understands the rhythm of the service, the significance of each prayer, and the reverence our churches deserve. From the Betrothal to the Crowning, the Common Cup, and the Dance of Isaiah, my goal is to preserve these moments faithfully while remaining as unobtrusive as possible.
My hope is that years from now, your photographs won't just remind you what your wedding looked like—they'll remind you of what God was doing on that day.
